Title: Unclickable chat with Paul
Reproduction Steps: Try to talk with Paul again
Repro Rate: First time I saw it.
Game Platform: Steam
Game Version: v 1.1 - 1222
Input Mode: Keyboard and mouse

I had already talked to him once but the interaction it's still there, I just can't click on it again, when I do nothing happens.

I had this happen yesterday with... I think the name is Emily? I use a controller but I didn't think to take a screenshot or anything.

@obsidian night Emily is Sam's spouse. And don't bother about the screenshot, I do it just to help then and show what's happening, but in this case, they just have to believe in us. I guess that even recording it, wouldn't be a good proof, because there's no way at all to show they that we are trying to click on it with no success.

Can you please attach your save file here? You can copy-paste this file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames. It's the DailySave.sav file 🙂

Hey @tight lava we checked your save file and unfortunately, this issue didn't happen on our end Pig_Sad_Emoji we can talk with Paul and the interaction button didn't stuck at the end

I don't know how can I record it to you. It doesn't happen always. I guess I will have to record every chat I could 😂 I don't know if what I was doing before counts, but what usually happens is that I'm just walking around the city chatting with everyone and suddenly, one of this chats keep the visual button of more chat actions but I can't really keep talking with this person.

I guess I will try to record this with Ling, since she was the one where this bug happened more than once.

I also can not chat with Paul. The little thing shows up that says to chat but when you click it does nothing. I've restarted my game and still can't speak with him. I need to talk to him for a quest so this is unfortunate 😅

With me is different. It only happens after chatting them. But the issue is the same as yours: the balloon pops up but I can't interact with them

Have you talked to the NPC (Paul) previously in the day? 1.1b introduced a 2h cool down on dialogue.
So if you talked to him at 6 am, next time you will be able to after 8 am.
If you have, devs would need more detailed information. Like your save file, game version and potentially a video. @tight lava @lapis ocean

@buoyant siren I already gave them my save files. They asked me to record it when it happened again. I just haven't recorded it yet because I haven't played in a while and it hasn't happened since.

Well, you encountered the problem in v 1.1 - 1222. Now the game is v1.1b-1231. So it makes sense that the situation may have changed.

No, he's still a character I haven't met yet according to the relationships tab. I chopped the log behind his house, but now I can't speak with him to complete the quest.
