This is a bit frustrating. I've encountered 5 crashes now on three different situations since 1.1

I will stop playing the game for now. Maybe play after a few months until all of these issues are identified and fixed. But, now I fear playing this game because alot of players are mentioning 1.2. So would all of these crashes and bugs appear again??? I thought this game is already fully launced and outside of beta?

Title: Crashed entering my Shed

Reproduction Steps: I started my day doing my chorese of collecting produce from crops and ranch animals. Then went to the ocean farm to harvest, plant, and water my sea crops. And, I also harvested sea ranch produce and let my sea animals out. Then I went to Slamet to move my second sea ranch building (it has no sea animals yet). Btw, I notiched a glitch when I did this (see image). The moved sea ranch did not disappear and would cause my character to get stuck. Then I planted seaweeds. Then I went back to farm and I sold my goats and quails. Then I went to Savannah, had a race, and bought ostriches and buffalos. I renamed them. Then went back to the farm and petted the new farm animals. I went around and foraged around most of the map. Used the two types of teleporters and also the horse. Then around 10pm, I started collecting my artisan products. Then I decided to rearrange my kegs and aged barrels from one shed to another shed. When I enterred my other shed, the game crashed.

Repro Rate: this is the first time that this happened to me

If so, they are working on the issue. Fixing bugs is difficult. Often times, when you fix one, another pops up. Please remember to be patient with the devs! It is a difficult job, especially with a game this complex. For now, you may be able to circumvent the crash avoiding the autochests as that seems to be the most directly related to the issue.

Nah, this is a fully released game, not an early access one. This is not the time or place to be dealing with crashes surrounding items that players come in contact each game day. There are game testers for a reason - to avoid this from happening once the game is released. I'm losing my patience each time I pick this game back up (I have over 300 hours already) because of new game-breaking crashes related to day-to-day ingame activities. (Before, it was the diving bug that made the game stuck and we had to force-close it.) Sorry for a rant but I and other players paid full price for a game that's borderline unplayable.

Yelling at them to fix it faster isn't going to solve your problem faster. I also payed full price for the game, and can't play it without it crashing my whole computer. But at the end of the day, devs are people, and these problems can't really be game tested beforehand because they are new. I've been on the other side of this, and I understand that it is frustrating from your point of view. But it is without a doubt even more frustrating from their side. So please, remember kindness. At the end of the day its just a game.

I have to agree that for a game at 1.1 release there is really no excuse for the number of bugs and crashes going on. If this was early access, fine. But don't advertise a game as 1.1 when it is in such a state. It is not unkind to expect a product you paid for to work.

Maybe if this was a triple A studio, yes. But this is an indie studio who’s game was kickstartered. Also, this update quite literally came out a week ago. Things are bound to be rough for the first week. This even happens with huge game studios! Baldurs gate was recently in an unplayable state. I just ask for kindness as, well, imagine you are a dev for a moment. You’ve been trying to chase down this new bug, and its probably been an experience something like following methods through hundreds of files and testing while trying to fix other bugs. And then you read something like what you are saying. Would it not be disheartening? De-motivating? Especially when you are putting in your best work possible, and all people do is complain. If the update had been out for a month, ok, I understand that you might really be at the end of your patience. But, again, this is a small studio. You cannot force the same expectations on them as you would a studio that probably has over 100 devs. That is just not right.

Oh thank you @pliant plover @open pivot @teal pine for sharing your thoughts ...

I understand all your points 😅

I was excited for the new update, I played a few days straight, and experienced crashes one after another. I have been playing Coral Island for almost two years now and I really enjoy playing this game. In fact, this is the game where I first encountered the term 'cozy game'. But this is the first time that I experienced these crashes. So it frustrated me.

But in my defense, I have not been rude or disrespectful to the developers or moderators. I believe sharing your frustration in a calm and respectful manner is not unkind 🙏

I will play today. I saw there was a patch. So hopefully, the problems I've encountered have been solved.

Cross my fingers, I will have an enjoyable time playing again 💖

P.S. I hope the mods reply to my crash reports and say they have fixed the problem .. that would be awesome.
