Auto-collector and auto-petter aren't meant to be underwater (as of now), the only machine works is the temperature.

The petter works fine and yesterday's patch notes would disagree on the topic of whether or not the collector should be working.

I'm having the same issue too. I also can't hit it with my pickaxe to get it back.

I would think it is because that collectors have items inside them, hence there's no way for it to be removed unless the items are removed.
Additionally, patch notes aren't that all accurate as it seems that some of the bugs persist post-patch (stuck machine, automated chest not working).

Having the same issue. I went to the shop and moved the underwater barns yesterday and that made it work - for a bit, now its bugged again.

Can confirm that moving the buildings(again) got them working. For anyone in need of a temp fix 🙂

Experiencing the same problem. Having put one in both my underwater barns means that I have accidentally locked off finishing the last song of the sea as I can no longer collect any mermoo milk. I'm attaching my game save as well, incase more data is needed.

Same issue, if you move the barn it becomes selectable until you exit the game, and then need to move the barn again.

yeah this is broke for me as well
which means all my milk/eggs are gone forever as well.
unless i guess i sell all my animals, and buy a new barn. which is unreasonable.
I guess i cant play the game until this is fixed
And to boot it also looks like i cant even send them out of the barn anymore. they just lag at the entrance and going back in. Which also means i have to put seaweed in the barn every day so they wont get cranky. For products that i dont even get.

Having the same issue. At one point I moved the entire barn and the collector was suddenly interactable and worked fine. But next time i booted up the game it wasn't working again

I’m glad to know I’m not the only one. I’ve been sooo excited for underwater farming/have been having the same issues as stated above. Everything else works for me minus the collector (and obviously the feeder doesn’t). I’ve moved the barn several times but it works temporarily for the collector & stops again. I’ll have to move it again & get the collector out for now lol

Having the same issue. Moved the barns to a different spot but the machines stayed where the barns used to be and I can't interact with them. Can't pick them up with the pickaxe either

I have not heard about a fix yet. Currently, just don't put auto collectors in. If you did, moving the barn SHOULD help, not a guarentee though.

Issue still persists. (Steam, PC) Moving the barn did not resolve the issue for me. What I am seeing is that after I placed the auto-things, went to bed, all 3 were stacked on top of each other. Was not able to interact or remove. I found a redit post, where the hit boxes were in the wrong location, so I just swam around until I found the interaction and was able to get my items that way.
