Since unlocking this perk, I've chopped thousands of wood from regular trees and get zero hardwood. I only get it from the logs in the middle forest. Just FYI.

It does work its just so low of a percentage it doesn't look like it does. It should be increased to atleast 5% instead of 1%. Always had a problem with that perk. It's basically worthless, especially once you get further in the game.

why would they have footage of something that doesn't trigger for them? should definitely be reworked to 10 or 20% because its too low to trigger most of the time
