#Merfolk Chaperone Part 2 Cutscene Crash

Summary: During Merfolk Chaperone Part 2 Quest, 22nd of Fall at 08:00 AM, the game will crash at third cutscene during the series of cutscenes (right after cutscene with giants)

Reproduction Steps: Go towards Raja's Coffee/Tavern and trigger quest Merfolk Chaperone Part 2. Watch or skip first two parts of the series of cutscenes and it crashes.

Repro Rate: Every single time. Can't continue playing.

Game Platform: Steam

Game Version: v1.1-1220

Input Mode: Keyboard and Mouse

PC and GPU specs details:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13600K 3.50GHz
RAM: 32GB (31.8 GB usable)
System: 64-bit Windows 10
Installed on Samsung SSD 870 QVO 1TB drive.

Same issue for me. Seems like there is an issue with Semeru and the Hot Spring, because you can't hangout with him at the Hot Spring without crashing the game

Also having this issue. It crashes after the part of the cutscene where you all visit the giants and then go to head to the hotsprings. Tried it twice on two different days.

Im having the same issue. I tried different days and pressing F to skip but didnt work, always crash.

Just got the the Giants scene with the Merfolk. Game crashes even when I skip the cutscene. I am in Fall season, and hoping it gets fixed soon

Same here. It crashed in Winter for me, so I skipped to the next day thinking that would help. Ended up not doing it because of the weather. Fast forward to Spring and it crashed in the same scene.

I was just told by my friend that his game crashed when he tried asking Theo to the hot springs too, so maybe it’s just not Semeru but hanging out with anyone at the hot springs
