Hi! I just went through my first Harvest Festival and I'm trying to find out if I'm just very bad at this minigame or if there's some tricks I'm missing. The multiplier doesn't seem to be changing the amount of points that pumpkins give, and even on a good run the highest I managed to get was 114 something points. This just barely let me reach third place, with first still very far off. It honestly doesn't feel doable, so I wonder if it's me or if there might be something bugging

it's just a tough minigame ;-; the combo count actually only starts multiplying the amount of points every 10x pumpkins smashed (normal pumpkin is usually +1 but at 11 combo it's +2, at 21 combo it's +3 etc).
avoid the moldy pumpkins at all cost, take your time to make sure that you continue the combo streak, and even then you may have to try a few times just because of rng pumpkin generation
but slowing down and making sure you hit a pumpkin with every swing & avoid the rotten pumpkins is crucial~
