I have finished healing the coral tree and had the subsequent cut scenes, including ||blowing the golden conch, getting all the oil to disappear and the towns folk went and celebrated in the ocean together||
I seem to have unlocked mermaid hearts, but I'm still being told I'm not allowed to enter the tavern. That's where the romanceable I wanna get to know tends to hang out. How do I access this place?
