The monkey temple door won't budge?

Hello friends, long time player and lurker, first time poster.

So I just got a cut scene showing these vines pulling back from the tree at the shrine behind the ranch, revealing a door. I cut down the log in front of it but the door "won't budge". Is there a particular quest I need to complete before it opens? I haven't had any prompts for a quest involving that door/shrine.

But I'm only at Town Rank B, and am still finding all the cut scenes regarding the ||"mayoral election"||, so perhaps I have to wait?

That’s can’t be accessed until you have the heritage rank S questline for ||guardians|| active

Which can’t happen until after town rank A & all its story cutscenes have been viewed (takes about a week post town rank A -> all story cutscenes require Sunny weather)

When the above is done, after another sleep usually & need a Sunny day again iirc, fast travel to Lake & dash over to the left stairs to the greenspace up top left -> should then get cutscene for questline intro
