Merfolk Chaperone

I’m on the quest Merfolk Chaperone part 1. Went to the diving pier as requested but the scene won’t trigger. It’s about 11 am. The instructions say to go anytime between 8 am-12 am.
Advice?
I’m on Xbox X

Oh I should have mentioned that I did that part already. I’m on the second part now ||after they got their legs||
But I did try it anyway, and still nothing 😿

Is it sunny? Some things won't trigger if it won't. I do know one of the events I forgot on the first day, but it still triggered normally on the second day

Yeah it’s sunny. I didn’t go the first day. Then the second day it was raining and wouldn’t let me. So it’s the 3rd day but it still told me to go to the pier. I’m there now but nothings happening

Make sure you go between 8am and 12PM (not midnight lol). I made that mistake

Luckily I have a couple more days to do it so I’ll just make sure to be there at 8 am the next day and hopefully that works! 🤞

I’m on Xbox X as well lol it does say midnight so I went at 5 pm thinking I still had time and there was no cutscene, just them in the inn crocheting/embroidering 💀

I went back the next day at 10am and it worked!
