I did see that Redbuds are labeled as "vegetables" when I had one in my inventory before yeeting it into the Shipping Bin

Yeah each ocean crop is assigned to fruit / vegetable / flower category
Just a matter of if it’s done so in the programming in a way which will be read / accepted by the code for harvest festival display 🙂

W/ the land options, there's something that can earn you 25 points in each category - which is the highest number of points you can earn per category - with the exception of vegetables, where the highest number of points you can earn is 20. However, if underwater crops are accepted, Bluecole is valuable enough to score 25 points in the vegetable category, making it possible to achieve the maximum possible score of 186 points. Depends on whether underwater crops count for the Harvest Festival, though.

So. I actually made it to the Harvest Festival. I get 6 points for Diversity for both the Bluecole and the Cauliflower, so I think the Bluecole probably does count as a vegetable for Harvest Festival purposes.
