My mermoo is eternally grumpy despite me taking really good care of it and no large mermoo milk yet and I need it for the orchestra anyone have hints on how to get him to cheer up he is sharing a barn with three other animals...

I had the same problem... it turns out they don't like to be more than 2 mermoos per barn. I had three in a barn... mine were grumpy despite petting and temperature control device. They only produced small milks. Once I built a second barn, and moved one of them there, the next day they became happy. After a few more days, I got my first large milks.. Hope that was helpful.

Oh thank you... mine is the only mermoo in the barn but the barn is full so maybe that is the problem - time to build a new one

When I had mine, I have 1 of each animal in there and they were just unhappy. I put the auto patter, temperature machine and collector in, they were happy but were not producing. But soon they start producing but just not showing the icon that shows that they are milkable or whatever. Mine did not start producing large milk after around 50 game days lol

you can let them out anytime regardless of the weather (weather on land doesnt impact ocean animals)
you need temperature machine
dont put auto collector & petter, its buggy
and do pet them everyday

Do you have temperature machine in the barn? How many mermoos do you have in the same barn? Did you click on the animal or on the underwater barn board to see the reason why they're grumpy?
