#Auto chest supplying machine not directly to left/right

I noticed that an auto chest I'm using to create scrap is also supplying a kiln that is 2 spaces below it to make glass. Personally I love the idea, but pretty sure it's not intentional, lol. I played around and I've only been able to reproduce it once with a mason jar.

Other info: On PC, version 1.1-1198, using keyboard and mouse, and reproduction steps is placing an auto chest down and then placing a machine below the chest instead to the left/right. Only reproduced once out of about 5 tries.

I was able to recreate the issue and get a video, hopefully mkv format is ok. Also including a new version of my save file.
