Reproduction Steps: None of my underwater animals are producing anything. I have tried removing the auto-collector and selling/rebuying my animals but despite being happy and being let outside every day, I have yet to get a single drop from any of them. I remember this bug from the beta but thought it got fixed before the beta was closed...did the fix not make it into 1.1?

The ink one and the fur one did yes. They are in another barn. The barn the mermoo are in has been moved once so maybe that has something to do with it. It was moved before I had animals

im fairly certain if i sell all my animals, remove my auto-collector/auto-petter/temp thing, then delete the whole barn and rebuild without the auto-collector the animals will produce...but ugh that is so much work

I did have the autocollector in there for a day or two then I removed it so maybe I bugged the whole thing. Should I just sell and rebuild you think?

yea you can definitely try it....i was able to get the animals working for a while in the beta if i built a fresh barn and never put the auto-collector in there (i rebuilt the barn like 30 times in the beta lol)

but before the beta was closed they definitely fixed the auto-collector issue and for one brief, glorious moment i saw underwater animal produce in my auto-collector 😀

My friend said that she did rebuild and never placed any machines except the temp one and hers are working fine now.

I rebuilt as well now and animal are producing ok. Just the temp machine in there

Hello everyone! I'm sorry for the delay in response to you. If you have this issue after placing the Auto Collector or other Auto machines in the underwater Barn, our team is aware and currently fixing it.
Hopefully, the fix will be released soon so you can get the produce from underwater Animals. Thank you for your understanding during this process! approve2

I am experiencing the Auto Collector bug in the underwater barn even though I am on 1.1-1221 (Steam). The Auto Collector was placed after the patch went out. There is sometimes an exclamation mark above it, sometimes not, and I cannot interact with it or remove it.

it would be through the boards in the barn
you click the "toggle edit" then the sell option should show up for each of the animals

The patch from August 1 should have fixed this. I updated my game yesterday and placed auto collectors and got items to populate. I’ll check now to see again

Oh boooo…broken again. The autopetter is fine, animals are happy and pet but the auto collector is not accessible. We can walk thru it and can’t remove it. Devs please check this out. This is not fixed with the latest patch

Ohhh I figured it out! It does work, but the hit box for it is far away…video incoming

You do not need to sell your animals. Just build another barn and move them over, then destroy the old barn. This way you won't lose out on the affection.

I respectfully disagree - as Airyspaw already showed in her video: the hit box is a bit off, but it works. The hit box could use some love though.

Thanks for finding the hit box. That is a good interim solution until the bug is fixed. Unfortunately I had already destroyed my old barn with the collector in it, haha.

The hit box changes so you’ll have to check every day but it can be so far

Broken

I first realized I could put the auto collector and petter in the underwater barn but not the auto feeder. This sucked but at least I thought these two would make it easier on me going between the two farms. However, once placed they did not show anything collected and animals now say too soon to collect. I then removed them with my pickaxe in hopes that it would go back to normal because it's needed for the orchestra site. It did not. I have no machines currently in the underwater barns, I have them put away for now in a chest until matter is fixed, each day I return there is still nothing to collect. This is a major issue for progression in game with orchestra site. I'm not sure what is going on with game between land farm machines and beehives not working at times to now underwater barns being an issue but please fix this. I understand with all the layoffs for humble bundle which came at a complete shock that times are trying and I understand corporate greed is making it harder and I completely empathize with the whole situation, but could you guys please find time to fix this situation so we can progress in game or acknowledge the situation and let us know in a statement if these are not able to fixed in the spectrum of future time until humble bundle has a plan in mode. Sorry for the long note and thank you for your time and efforts. Much appreciated 👍
