So some background, I started playing at launch, saved the ocean, realized the merfriends were not yet friendable/romanceable, and decided to come back when they were. So now I'm back.
I have fully cleaned the ocean, done all the orb things, did the "one of us" mission where you ||Get the tail|| but I seem to still be unable to build any friendship with any merfriend. I've talked to them every day for 5 days, given two gifts, one which was loved and the other was liked.
Am I missing something? Is friendship harder then I remember? I haven't unlocked the underwater farm yet is that what's missing? Or am I bugged because of the jump from 1 to 1.1?
Any info would be wonderful!
