Go to the downhall, the second room on your right and there's a blue sign with a letter in them. There, you can change your name, the style of addressing you, your farm's name, your pet's name, and your children's name in the future.

I’m playing on the ps5 but won’t let me change it just yet I’m guessing it’s bc it has to do with the 1.1 update? I’ll have to update it later

Yeah. It's a feature added in 1.1.
