#Unable to attach scent bait to flying insect trap

I am able to eat the scent but not attach the scent to the trap itself. Hovering over the trap the word 'interact' pops up but despite clicking many many times, nothing happens. I have attempted to 'reset' the trap since the update by picking it up and replacing it but nothing. I have tried multiple areas too (lake, mid forest etc.)
