Town Rank A Bugged

I also posted in the coral help and questions thread. I'm playing on Xbox PC. Got to town rank A the day before the Cherry blossom festival. The only letter I got is pictured, about the
cellar key. I didn't mean to skip the cutscene with puffer fish, apparently I shouldn't have? Went today after the Cherry blossom festival and no new furniture. Only a few new clothing items. And the community center says it's still town rank B. Still no letter from the mayor about the new rank either. On spring day 12, tried to see if next day would fix it. Pics included

this happened to me as well. it took a few in-game days to get the letter from connor

The community centre board won’t update to A until the story cutscene for it has been viewed 🙂

& it takes around a week for all town rank A story cutscenes to trigger
& story cutscenes can only be triggered during Sunny weather, so that can impact timeline as well

Hi Bee! I have not received the letter from Connor or had any new missions to reach Rank S but my community board did reach rank S. Do you think my game is bugged? I have played two seasons since the update and no letter. Ive been trying to trigger any scene. I currently have my mermaid tale and all collections done. Any help is appreciated! <3

So to confirm, what is the file source of this game save file you are playing?

File source is when/where you created this save file!

So has this file always existed in the main game branch? Example, created during 1.0 (whether brand new or NG+)

Oh yes this save file was from before the beta and I have been playing on this one for quite some time. proabably atleast a couple months. Created during 1.0.

Okay, so as long as you’ve never poked around on your PC files & moved things around, then yes indeed this reads as a bugged file you have.

Which in that case please refer to https://discord.com/channels/623097219628662784/1222877204233584722 & create a fresh bug report thread / post so that the team can track your info

@dull rivet it has been a week and still no new furniture. Is the new stuff only in the prize machines in the savannah? Or is it at rank S 🥺

Ah! Yes iirc all new 1.1 decor & clothing in shops etc is rank S unlocks (& some new unique items via quest rewards!)
Afaik there were no changes to the preexisting unlocks in towns shops at rank A

& yes there’s also new unique things via the gachas & savannah

@dull rivet that's.... really sad? Why would they say they were adding so much new furniture but not give it till rank S? 🤬 Why would they make the claim for Town rank A saying there's new decor in the shop when there isn't

So 1.0 update was for all the game content up to town rank A

1.1 is for post town rank A content

That’s just always been their roadmap & plan..? Idk what to say lol

Perhaps you’re mixing up details?
As per #📋coral-changelist it’s simply stated the amount of new items for decor & clothing. No rank/unlock specifics noted alongside it

In my experience people have often confused details of dev blogs or misunderstood roadmap plans

@dull rivet no, I'm mad that when I hit town rank A, there's a big blatant notice on the game that says there's new furniture in the shop. There is none at all. So if that's the case, don't show it???

There is tho, not new items unique to this update, but there are new sets which unlock at town rank A

Idk the set names - wiki should have the info & if not perhaps coral.guide has added the rank unlock info but idk if that’s been done either

I’d advise updating your post to follow https://discord.com/channels/623097219628662784/1222877204233584722 as is requested by the team. This will allow proper investigation to be completed / save you the time later when a compiler would inevitably inform you the report guidelines need to be adhered to

i found out that there is a shop which sells furniture at rank A, from Coral.guide, its called Sales Cart Stall, dont ask me where it is tho, i have no clue. googling it just opens the black market wiki

I have had the same issue regarding the furniture. What's interesting is that there is underwater furniture I don't have access to right now. I am not clear if it unlocked at rank A or was already there while I was in B. That's because I can only see it in the catalogue view, and I didn't check the catalogue view when I made it to rank A because I prefer the other view (where you can see what the furniture looks like on the farm). If you look at the Underwater Outdoor Decor Assets Missing (PC) post, you'll see what I mean (watch the video). I wonder if that could be the furniture that unlocked at rank A?

Ok that makes sense. Thanks for responding to on here, glad I'm not the only one who's so mad about decorating 😅 now if only they would let us interact with the furniture and sit down
