Sometimes the boulders that let you progress in a cave do not spawn but the game acts as if the boulder is there.

Yup! One sec and I'll replicate it. I'm on PC (I made one other bug report as well, also PC)

@thorn relic here's the video of the bug. I entered the cave and the unblocked door on the left was clear, but behaves as if the boulders are still there. I didn't clear any trash from the level either. This was in the first cave (Se Pulu).
In the process of getting this clip, I encountered a bug where clearing all trash in a room wouldn't clear the boulders as well. Screenshot for ref:
