I have the auto collector set up for my Mermoo but its not registering anything collected meanwhile i cant manually collect it from the mermoo. unlike the auto petter, i can swim through the Collector as if its not really there and move it around by using a pickaxe on it. I dont think it is registering items and basically losing the items.

Putting the auto petter in my farm completely messed everything up for me, had to sell the animals and the barn and start again

I have not. I'm going to keep it there until its fixed and just make a new barn and manually do it.
I dont have any back up saves from before i bought the mermoo since i didnt realized until it was far too late.
I atleast KNOW the petter is working. I can't interact w/ the Collector.
