Create-Button (Share) on PS5 opens pausemenu

Reproduction Steps: Make a screenshot on PlayStation 5 using the Create-Button (Share function)
Repro Rate: Always when not in a menu/dialog
Game Platform: PlayStation 5
Input Mode: Controller
Game Version: V1.1-1198

Currently i am only able to take screenshots when a dialog window is open. Outside of a dialog the Create-Button (Share) opens up the pause menu. Makes it hard to take proper screehshots for bugreports. I had a look at the controller mapping but have no idea how to get rid of this behaviour.

Edit: In case someone is still struggling with screenshots. If you hold the Create-Button instead of pressing it once, a screenshot will be captured instantly,
I'm used to press it once and take screenshots/videos via the quick menu, so this is still an issue when i want to make a video.

Same here. I was getting so frustrated with this until I figured out that you can take screenshots by keeping the Create button pressed for a few seconds 🙂

Yes it still happens.
I played around a bit with the settings for the (share)-quick menu on the PS5 and i can make a video if i need but it is still a bit of a pain because there is always this menu at the start/end of a video from the "open world".
It works fine when i have the journal, inventory, map or the npc list open, so basicaly it's fine as long as any of those ingame menus is open, i't also fine when i talk to an npc.
But if i move around on the farm/town and want to make a video of something suddenly happening, then the share function always opens that pause menu first.

I dont know if the video (underwater) is any help, what i try to show you is that the pause menu opens when i want to end the video via the Create menu.

The other video shows, that i can end it without any inerruption, the music and anything else continues even when the Create menu pop's up, which you sadly cant see in the video. I'd need to make a video from the TV while i make a video using the Create menu on the PlayStation ... that sounds a bit weird and complicated 😄

At least i found out that the problem is related to the setting for Shortcuts for Create Button on the PlayStation 5, or better it's related to the Create menu. When i use the Standard option, which means a short press opens the Create menu, it opens up the pause menu in the game, a long press for a screenshot is fine. When i change this to Easy Screenshots, which means a short press makes a screenshot, it's fine, but then the long press that opens the create menu, open up the pause menu in the game.

I'm no longer sure if this can be called a bug at all because i realized it's the game's default behaviour when you pause it in some way. It's the same when i press the PS button, the game pauses and brings up the menu but only when no other dialog/interface is open. So when the PlayStation opens the Create menue, it pauses the game immediately, which is the root of all evil.

Just want to let you know I've reported your report to the teams and they're working to fix it now 🙂 also for the temporary solution, you can hold the "share" button and the pause menu won't open 👀
