When diving down into the default 10m diving spot, I get a popup saying "Fail to play action A_PlayerStartDiving_Montage" and then just normal diving interaction, the cutscene doesn't play

I received this message today when I reset diving but I have already completed the to the surface part 1. I am playing on steam.

In case anyone else having the issue wants to work around it: teleporting to the 10m shrine and swimming up allowed the cs to trigger. Going down from the dock was giving the error. I'm progressing this quest now!

I am currently running into this problem. Swimming up from the 10m teleport doesn't do anything either. I've reset game so many times, and reset the anchor after swimming around for a bit as well.

oh rofl. Either way I tried multiple days, during the expedition and got the same thing.
I had to go down to 10m teleport and swim up to activate it
