Pet not there just shadow

So it has been like this for two in-game days where my pet cat just disappeared and the only thing there is a shadow of him.

I play on the Xbox series S . I haven't tried changing my graphics settings. I always leave them in the presets state.

So I got back on yesterday and my cat was back visible to see but next time it happened I will take a video

invisible pets when I woke up in the morning
Noticed that they weren't indoors when I went to bed the night before (at least I didn't see them)
They were back when I reset the game, so not sure if the save file can help or how to reproduce the bug.

We've just launched an update for steam, have you tried to update your game, and does this issue still persist?

same thing happened to me i just started the day and they were invisible. i’m in the second year of spring and i play on the pc game pass it lasted for 2 days and then went back to normal im on the latest version

It happened to me today (8/14/24). The dog model came back when I closed out the game completely and restarted it.

This is happening to me too on steam deck today, it started mid playthrough so likely unaffected by an update. 8/26/2024

Also having this issue now on the latest hotfix, I'll close the game and reopen it to see if that fixes the issue
