My game crashes sometimes while saving after sleep. It's a bit frustrating because I have to redo everything I had done. Yesterday, before the update, it happened 2-3 times. Today, on version v1.1-1198, it's the same.

Hi! Can you create a separate report for this and attach the crash log? You can access the crash log by copy-paste this file path into your Windows Explorer: %localappdata%\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes then filter the date to the recent one, and send the .xml file to your new report! Thanks

How long you've been playing in a day (real-life) before this crash happened?
i'm not sure, i think sometimes crash im 20 minutes, sometimes 1 hour, and so on. Doesnt have a standart.
Have you successfully completed one in-game day before the crash happened?
Yeah, a lot. The crashes are many but sporadics, sometimes my game crash two times in a day (in-game), other times i can play 5 (example) without crash.
What game speed setting did you choose when playing the game? You can check it on the setting.

What is your current in-game season and year?
I i'm autumn in Year 2, but i dont think this is a problem, because crashs happened in summer to.
How many auto chests do you have?
I have 63 auto chests, but constantly working there must be about 52. I noticed that the more chests the more the game's FPS has a chance of dropping, but the crashes happened when i sleep, The game accounts for the money and when it's time to save it crashes
Have you healed the Coral tree and become a merfolk?
Yes
Can you share a screenshot of your town rank progression in the journal, and your farm layout?

@remote tapir Im not sure, but i started to back to menu everday after save and the crashes is gone, so I believe that crashes occur when we play days in a row, for me this tactic is working

sure anything im happy to do anything to help you with this issue
erm it's hard to say really cause I can go on it and do just 1 in game day then try saving it and it will crash today iv been on since half 9 am bst and tryed to do a in game day and each time iv gone to bed to save it's crashed so iv had to redo the same day again about 4 times now and I had just donated stuff to the museum and offered stuff at the lake temple and iv had to redo and got different each time from the Fossils, coffters
some times I can complete one in game day and some times I can't like today
game speed setting is at about 50% was at 100% cause I didn't know I could change it till someone kindley told me
summer Thursday 25 and year is year 5
I don't have any auto chest it's just regular wood ones
yes healed coral tree and now Iv become a merfolk I have a tail 😀

try going to sleep with an empty inventory, I am very unsure if that fixes everything but it did for me (at least today)

hello guys, some tips to avoid the crash (I've been doing it for a while and it's working, almost 15 days in a row without crash):
Sleep with empty inventory (ALWAYS) @solemn vine Tip 🤝🏻
Always reset the game or back to menu after sleep
Pay attention to small bugs during the day, your game will probably crash, see if it is recurrent and avoid making even an update
That is it. The first and second tips are mandatory. Good game for everyone, good lucky to 🤝🏻😘

This is ridiculous my game still crashes everyday when I sleep sometimes it will save some times it doesn’t this so unacceptable the this is still happening what can’t they they just fix the crashing why do u keep putting out updates but won’t fix the biggest problem

thank you very much sorry for the late reply. iv update the game on my xbox series s. At the moment the only issues I'm having at the moment is the game dashboarding me when in the middle of playing and also there is lagging and freezing quite a bit

I mean I can be in the middle of an in game day and the game will just close its self off and take me right back to my home screen of my xbox so then I'm having to reload the game and do everything again. I'm sorry but don't have a video of it if I can get one i will try and get one the next time I'm on my game.

@remote tapir I don't have the technical expertise to make an in depth report with all of the information required to make a report. I am having the exact same issues on the exact same console gen. Literally same exact. It would look the same. Thank you for looking into the issues though! Hope to see a fix soon 🙂
