complete one category of the museum, example if you complete bugs category, you'd get a lot of exp. One of the big exp from museum are from completing those categories

and looks like youve completed ocean and offerings

Also the numbers in the bar don’t actually correspond to how many things you’ve donated, just how close you are to the next rank. Make sure you’ve donated all the different artifacts and fossils too. You can see how much is left in each category when you go to the collection box.
