for some reason my gem offering that i didn't finished got reset to 0
for rare gem i donated peridot, labradorite, cause those are the one that i had on chest
and for Super Rare i Donated Ruby and black opal
but for some reason all of it got reset back to 0 and i don't have the gem that's offered

So apparently if the altar is incomplete and you decided to quit the game after saving the altar progression will dissapear once you re-opened it

Not sure if it’s proper for me to tag on here - so forgive me if not - but just encountered this same issue on PS5. I donated a Black Opal last night, and today I am reset back at zero for the third category.

I’ve experienced the same issue on Xbox. Yesterday morning I donated multiple gem offerings prior to the new update and only had 2 left. Now it’s completely down to 0.

Hey, I'm on PC. For me, I actually finished uncommon and rare at the same time. Uncommon is still fine. But my rare has completely reset to 0. Even after I completed it.

Hey, I’m on PS5 too and I have the same issue. I finished uncommon and rare but when I return to the game later for me it’s my uncommon who reset to 0…

Same thing happening for me (playing on Pc/steam) Yesterday I had 3/3, 2/3, and 1/3 donated. Opened the game today and rare and super rare both got reset to 0/3, the previously donated gems are nowhere to be found

The same thing has happened to me (PC/Steam). I finished the common gems in one go and they've stayed, but I lost a Ruby from the rare gems (and I just donated a diamond I'm probably about to lose too...)

Hi there! Same thing happening for me.
I’m playing on XBOX
Gems were completely reset for me, and I was able to mine reoffer some Super Rare and Uncommon gems. When I went to check the next day the amount of Uncommon and Super Rare gems are at 0 again.

i was so confused when i saw this for the first time, but i thought it was a one time bug with the update. i saw that my previous gems i offered before the big update werent there, but reading back on this thread, it looks like its happening every time you quit out of the game, which really sucks

Same for me. Had donated 4 of 6 before the update. Did reset to zero after the update and deleted all new donations.

Same issue. Playing on XBox Series X. Yesterday I was able to donate 3/3 - 3/3 - 0/3. Today it resets to 3/3 - 0/3 - 0/3.

Having the same issue. I'd offered a few gems to the old system, those are gone, and with the new any gem thing I'd finished uncommon and super rare, which have disappeared the next day. Super upsetting Scott_Crying_Emoji

Hi just adding that I have the same issue. Offered 3 diamonds at once two separate times and they disappeared by the next time I checked. It also deleted one Labradite. Playing the new update on steam deck with a controller.

Also happened to me. I had all but 1 to donate before the update. Yesterday I added the 1st set and 2 of the 2nd. When I looked today the 2nd set was empty again.

I had 2/3 yesterday on the middle and 1/3 on the third. I just put a new gem in the last one...so it was reset.

I'm on steam and I have the same issue (tried to use 3 rose quartz purchased from the winter festival. I did this 2 days in a row and both reset to 0.)

I can confirm that my Uncommon and Super Rare gem counts are resetting. I donated all 3 Rare gems and they are not resetting.

Steam-User here, have the same problem. I keep on pumping gems into this altar but it always resets. I have this save before the new update came out, so maybe thats the reason but I honestly don't want to repeat 70h Playtime again.

I have the same issue. The only gem I was missing from the alter was Black Opal and now all of them are gone.

Same issue, I've lost gems after offering them not realizin that I neeed to offer all 3 at once I have lost a diamond, Black opal, Beryal and another gem that I can't recall. The shrine took them but then when I went back in they were gone from both my inventory AND the shrine.

Same here, using a steamdeck. My uncommon ones stay but my rare and super rare keep resetting.
I think, next time, I’m just going to save the gems and offer them all at once and hope that works - as it did for others, because I’m losing my mind with it resetting all the time 😭

i have the same problem with the jewels and it happend now some more times :( i play on PC and i also tryed the way to finish all but it also resetted to 0 so now i will save my jewels till it's fixed :/

I can say that if you collect all the gems you need and then give them all in one go then it won’t reset and will stay completed since it worked for me also!

On PC/Steam. I offered up the Pink Crystal, the Purple Crystal, the Rose Quartz, and the Marble for the uncommon gems but they keep vanishing whenever I log out.

so are we getting the gems back? is it save to insert them in the altar after the newest hotfix? I feel super alone with the problem and for us players it is totally frustrating we should at least get all the gems back via mailbox in a hotfix

On PC it should be safe to donate them again after 1220. I don't think there is even a way for them to give the gems back though, they'd need to program something that checks what was donated, and if there is no data to pull that information from it'd even be impossible. It's unfortunate for sure.

  • Reproduction Steps I have noticed on two occasions that I have made Offerings to the Lake Temple, and the next day they have disappeared. The most recent is the Rare Gem tier. I replaced my Osmium Snowdrop from the Rare Crop Offering before realising it had happened again with the Rare Gems.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the devs haven't been able to push this fix to consoles yet because of the Humble fiasco.

^ this yeah. devs usually have fixes like this one ready for all platforms around the same time, but right now they aren't able to actually push it to Xbox or PlayStation.

so for console players, your best bet is to wait until you've saved up all the gems needed for each of the 3 offerings and then submit them all at once.

Hello! Similar issue with my game play, I donated three gems to the rare gems in one go and it seems it didn’t save. I believe the gems were opal, peridot and jasper! Thank you!

For those who experienced this and have to worry about grinding the geodes again. If you got savannah cave of memories unlocked. Floor 25 to 50 gives a lot of geodes. It's a better grind than the mines based on my exp.

Are we ever going to get the gems back we offered prior to them changing the gem alter offerings? I had offered all but the red gem and now I have to start all over getting those rare gems, luckily I caught this bug before I saved.

Hi, is the jewel problem fixed now?
Apart from the fact that after the last big update all the jewels I had donated in the altar are gone, I have now reset it 3 or 4 times.... which is quite annoying ._. I'm saving all the jewels at the moment but I can't even get the ones I need and I've been farming in the stupid mine for several in-game weeks now.

So I’m guessing there’s no fix for this. It reset to only 1 of 3 being completed so now I have to find rare and super rare all over again. Since it was completed I didn’t check since that’s the supposed work around for the bug but I noticed it was reset when going to place something else while playing today (Xbox Series S).
