Osmium Essence

The quest for Osmium crops is completed when placed in the inventory, but in the case of Osmium Essence, the quest is not completed even if harvested from the extractor, so the quest cannot be completed even if you go to the Prophet's Room. Can't I just put the osmium essence made by putting glass and osmium kelp in the extractor and put it in my inventory? I don't know if it would have been conveyed properly using a translator.
