Reproduction Steps- loaded EA save files for NG+

  • tested 2 ways- skipped cutscenes and didn't skip cutscenes.

Repro Rate- 100%

Game Platform- Steam

Game Version- v1.1-1198

the 5k.sav file was the one i saved from EA and saved directly to desktop. i was always able to during 1.0 just reuse that over and over to restart NG+ as desired. i hope that comes back

Hi guys. If you use the 'Retrieve missing tools' feature at the blacksmith and the 'Help me find my tools' feature in the beach sack, will your tools be returned?

i can check. i started a fresh file. as far as i know @brittle fog did that option and it did work

and actually- i dont get any of the starter stuff. so no tools, no seeds, no tree seeds 😦

Yep, I got not tools or seeds when I did my NG+ file and skipped the opening cutscene. I got my tools back from Pablo (didn’t go to the beach shack as you don’t get fishing/bug stuff on opening.)
(Thanks for reporting Pix! I started with enough time to do 2 days so didn’t want to stop to report a bug 🤭)

I even let all cut scenes play out and didn't get anything. So I grabbed a file with more starting cash lol

same as everyone else- no tools no seeds! Did have to get my stuff from the blacksmith.
