Reproduction Steps:

I received an error message whenever i try to save the game by sleeping. Clicking on "Retry Save" leads me back to the same error message <Attachment 1>
I'm currently at Year 2, Summer day 2, the game does not capture my saves and now it is back to Year 2, Spring day 28. <Attachment 2>

Repro Rate: First time seeing this error after the update 1.1
Game Platform: PC Steam
Game Version: V1.1-1198
Input Mode: Keyboard and mouse
Save file: i tried to search for my save file based on the guideline and i only found this in the folder <Attachment 3>

Hi again @slender shell, can you tell me if your Steam Cloud is enabled or not? You can try right-clicking the game on the Steam library, selecting Properties, and it's on the General tab 🙂

I see! If you open this link: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage and search for Coral Island, then click on “show files”. Will you be able to find your save? Can you share the screenshot to us as well? 😮

Ah if 31 December 2023 is your last day playing Coral Island, then you can download this from your Steam Cloud 🙂

Then copy-paste the file to this folder and rename it to “DailySave_0.sav”

After that, can you try open the game again? Will the save file appear?

Hi, when i tried to rename the file into DailySave_0.sav, system prompted me a message saying i have duplicate files with same name. I noticed that the some of the files were in hidden view (within the red box). should i replace the existing file with the one i downloaded from cloud?

Ah then you can change it to "DailySave_1.sav" so it doesn't replace with your older save file 😉
