Hi everyone. I bought the 1.0 patch and now bought the 1.1 for the update.
But once I got it I haven't received any update notification from the game.
How would I know that the 1.1 took effect?

Check the in-game version number on the opening menu. It should say v1.1-1198

Do you have to purchase the version 1.1? Because on the steam account of my wife it also shows version 1.1-1198 but the update was showing availbale for purchase .
PS I was playing the game before via family share but wanted to support the dev so I purchased it for my account too

No, 1.1 is a free update. You have the right version of the game - v1.1-1198
You can technically buy games multiple times from the Steam Store as it allows you to then gift the games to other people
