Hello all! I cannot seem to be able to place any bug traps anywhere on my island. Any advice?

have you made sure its not a trap for sea critters?

It should be green and say ground insect trap or flying insect trap. The purple ones are for underwater.

float trap is underwater, there's a separate one for flying insects
