#How many years have the developers committed to this project?

Hello, New here! As of maybe 4 days ago? I've heard of this project for many years now, but didn't want to play until it had some substance.

Do we know how committed the dev's are to this? I know stardew is an outlier in this economy as a single developer just continously improving one product while allowing mod support.

However I was wondering how this dev team is considering their trajectory? With multi member teams, you do need a continuous income. Unlike stardew who is one person.

  • Do they want to go to a new project after this?
  • Do they hope to make enough money to have a small team making updates to this game while producing a new game?

I know mod support isn't on the pipeline so I'm just curious on what this looks like.

I have a lot of feedback on the game itself, but I'm passionate about the direction this team is going with the game. Or I guess I'm passionate about the passion.

Correction, mod support was one of the goals achieved on their Kickstarter. While it is currently not featured on the roadmaps, they are obligated to include it eventually - and potentially it's one of the things that they're leaving for last, as mods can be tricky to work with when a game still has intended semi-frequent updates.

As for the rest of your questions, you might be better off asking one of the community managers directly - Novita, Eriska or Bene - to get the answers, as a lot of them are things that would only really be answered by the team themselves.
