Hello! I'm still trying to figure out what quality items to keep or sell in general, but I've been especially finding it difficult to figure it out for fish. Cooking doesn't seem like my thing in this game, it also doesn't seem very useful so I thought I might as well just sell the fish.

Several of the townies love fish, or fish dishes, and so using a higher star fish in cooking will give you a higher star dish, which will give a bonus to friendship when you give it.
But other than offerings, the museum, and a handful of fish lovers in town, it's best to just sell the higher star stuff. Put the high value fish in the fishing pond to duplicate for a lot of passive income.

Yup! So for example, Dippa loves beets. You'll get friendship points for giving her a loved gift, but if you give her a higher quality beet, you get even more points

honestly i collect every single legendary fish in case i need it... i usually have stock at least 5 each .. sea critter on the hand is another issue cause .. i cant reproduce them
