#White Hibiscus doesn't satisfy Hibiscus gift quest

Hibiscus is different flower.
Different flower my guy
Then maybe don't use Hibiscus for fetch quests and only use the different color varieties to avoid this confusion. You have to admit the confusion here is understandable.
Well, no. "Hibiscus" (item_52105) and "White Hibiscus" (item_52106) are two different items. If they ask for "Hibiscus" that's what they want. The game asked you for 52105 so that's what it's looking for when you turn it in.
I get that. I'm saying that rather than asking for Hibiscus, fetch quests should always ask for <color> Hibiscus (I'm assuming there are several), because, for new players, it's logically reasonable to assume "Hibiscus" means any type of Hibiscus one might find. It's clearly working as designed. My ask is purely to resolve ambiguity.
There’s “hibiscus” (which is red) and “white hibiscus” (that’s white). It even says on the item hibiscus or white hibiscus. So no, it doesn’t mean any type of hibiscus. It means the item that’s shows as hibiscus.
Thanks. Previous responses clarified that.
Hello @stray frost. Hibiscus and White Hibiscus are two different flowers, and I believe the other has helped explain it to you. Thanks for the report and for the help guys!
