Is there a way to get it to stop respawning eventually? It makes me sad when I clear out so much and it still comes back

the closest thing that you can do is placing auto trash collector to fill the ocean area 🤣 , but yeah thats a lot of work and auto trash collector isnt great :(

Believe me…you need it…u need a metric ton of scrap late game. Save all of the trash, and even then it isn’t enough. I had 5 stacks of 999 at one point in time. They’re all gone now 😂 year 2 summer 11 (animal festival)

You can eventually unlock ||trash auto-collectors|| that you can place down there but it's expensive and there's some debate over how worth it it is

Auto trash collectors kinda whomp imo cuz they don’t collect all the other stuff, and unless u are down there when it gets rid of the trash, the items disappear the next day

And yeah, it's fair. But if you really don't want to see the trash collecting on the sea-floor, it can work along those lines.
Especially given the caverns presence for trash/scrap etc

In my game it felt like when I finished all the solar orbs in an area more seaweed than trash respawned after a few days, like it was way more seaweed than when I first got there

I would rather have a clean ocean and keep the trash in the underwater caves. I thought that's what they were there for

And I hate the trash that washes up on the beach, I should be getting town rank points for keeping that clean since I seem to be the only one who cares
