I can't seem to find the piece. I cleared all the trash nearby.

Is there a possibility that the last piece is far away?

Without seeing the broader area I can't say for sure how far you may need to go, but I rarely found the piece hiding the orb close to the little altar thingies that activated.
But yes it is possible it's further away. Where are you at in the map?

All good now.. I found the last one near the black roots before crossing
