I don't think baby animals are ever coming back to the game. We've never been able to breed them, though, just buy babies from the ranch.

Additionally, the dinosaurs are just a skin, which is a framework that already exists with the legendary pet skins. Adding baby animals into the game again is akin to developing a new feature.
