I am on the latest Xbox version. Year 2, Winter 3.
After saving up a ton of money, I decided to finally start decorating my house, and I am having nothing but issues.
1.) Edit: i now see that this is a known issue! Many furniture items can not be placed directly into house storage. This includes several chairs, a kitchen counter, and several dressers. They are greyed out in your inventory when you are in the house storage menu, and cannot be moved into house storage. The only way to place these items into house storage is to place them in the house, enter decorate mode, select the item, and hit the RB button ("Place in inventory" button).
2.) In the house storage menu, there seems to be an issue with the navigation of inventory slots? When pushing the joystick or d-pad right to move one slot to the right, it instead moves to the right and down. This happens consistently and happens with multiple controllers. It acts as if I am moving the selection diagonally instead of just right. This makes it very difficult to move items from inventory to house storage.
3.) I added a large amount of furniture items to my house storage. However, over half of those items seem to have disappeared after being put into storage; they are not available for me to use in house decorate mode, and are not visible in house storage. They have just disappeared. All I did was purchase the items via the computer and put them into house storage, and they are gone.
4.) Once placed in my house, the computer item cannot be moved manually. Using an axe, pickaxe, etc on it does nothing. It can only be moved or removed in house decorate mode.
5.) In house decorate mode, if you pick up the computer and hit the button to move the computer to storage.... the computer disappears. It is not available in house storage, decorate mode, or my inventory. It is just gone.
6). In the house storage menu, I cannot scroll down to view more items . D-pad & both joysticks only move the selection to my inventory, rather than scrolling down in the storage menu. I can only view 4 rows of items despite having many more items than that.
