#Wakuu bugged after marriage?

Finally bit the bullet and married Wakuu. First thing he does once the new day starts is leave the house. No dialogue unless my avatar stands directly in front of him. I saw other play throughs of other partners, at least they stand there a bit. Is this a bug? I can stand my disappearing cabinet and furniture but this makes me want to delete my whole play through. Help. Thank you

Took 3 in game days for Wakuu not to runaway😆. We actually have sweet conversations in the morning. I know eventually it’ll repeat but I’ll savor it for now. Sad that I could pet my dog and show affection. And yet, after the sweet things Wakuu says, I just stand there😆🥲. Hoping the devs would really do something about it.

Hi. Winter 8 (his birthday) Made sure because I didn’t want to forget the date. SteamDeck version 1.0-948
Sorry but it’s really annoying. I heard all these nice feedback of being, at least, able to talk to npc before the start of the day. I don’t know if this is relevant, he also goes to bed later than 12. If I wait, my stamina for the following day is incomplete. I got so pissed that I actually slept 4x in the merfolk barracks. It’s now spring 2. I’m sorry I could forgive a lot but this feels like I have a roommate not a partner in game. I made my farm really nice and profitable. This really irks me. My dog and magical pet give me more attention😢. If you could help me. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Can you share your save file so our teams can check what's wrong with Wakuu? 😉

For Steam Deck, your save file would most likely be stored in 'compatdata' (filepath:/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata).

From there, you will see lots of folder with random number, Coral Island folder should be the one with code number '1158160'.

Enter that folder, into the pfx folder, then drive_c folder, then you can follow the file path here: Users\ <username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames to find your save file 🙂

Hi. I have a little update. After in-game days of leaving at 6 except for thurs-Sun where he leaves before 8. Wakuu got stuck at the door today. I know you can’t do anything until I am able to send the file but I thought you’d appreciate an update. I’m sorry I’m laughing writing this because I didn’t realize my avatar can do witchy magic to keep him indoors. I left him off the kill some monsters in the caverns🤣

Hi again @hazy coral. I've come with not-so-good news for you! 😅
After checking with the teams, Wakuu's schedule from Monday to Thursday where he leaves at 6am to 12am isn't a bug. It's his day to go to the Observatory and Tavern, and both activities are done at 11pm. That's why he's home by 12am+ because he needs time to walk home too! ✨
