Is it a bug? I had all the Hearth events, got the letter, ported to the pier at 7pm or ran. The weather was always sunny. But nothing triggers the event. Oh and it's not winter yet either.
What else can I try?

do you have a quest from him?
if so- dont teleport- walk to that area instead and see if that helps

I don't have a quest. But the main quests are finished.

From what I can tell, there's supposed to be some kind of quest/letter he sends you to trigger it
He's not bugged in main, I know that much

Hmm, I haven't noticed anything myself. I first got married to him in December or January I want to say?? I don't think it was November. No problems then and I had no problems in the beta save either if that's what you're talking about, I married him in the beta save late may and no problems then either...I could always go in sometime (and hope to god I remember to) and see if I have any problems? 😅
I do think that it did take a little bit to trigger, like I had to wait a day or two? I'm not 100% sure. have you tried the day after you got the letter?
