So I’m on day 20 of spring year 1, first play-through and coming from stardew (over 450 hrs, have hit perfection and all that jazz). I’m struggling to make money in coral island, I feel like everything I sell doesn’t earn you that much money. I focused on growing cauliflower and I still only have 3,000 coins after getting two bronze tool upgrades. The most I’ve had is almost 6,000 coins.

Any tips for making easy money in summer (or the rest of the year) without having to grind a crap ton? Preferably passive ways to make money but I’ll take any tips and advice!

Yo!

I recommend mining like crazy, selling extra ores. That, plus harvesting kelp in the ocean floor and doing much the same thing.

Nope, five ores sells for the same amount as a bar, so you're just wasting coal and time refining them if you're selling

Wow didn’t know that! Thank you, I’ll try that out :))

Absolutely! That's what makes it so fast to make money with! 🙂 Good luck!

As you level up farming you will unlock processing machines. Process things before selling them. Save up for a coop and barn.

Also middle of the seasons run around and collect all the coconuts around the island for easy cash. Plus sell the shells on the beach they respawn daily so go clear them out. Once you get 999 of trash or stone it sales for almost a 1000 and its super easy to replace.

Plus any furniture you are gifted that you dont want you can sell also.
