Xbox Series S Multiple Crashes SOS

Every few in game days it crashes without fail. It's been doing this since March!!! How can you be beta testing new material, when I'm still not allowed to win the apple bobbing game, can't receive prize or points for winning the Harvest Contest two years in a row, can't receive gifts from spouses, and still get crashed and booted in the ocean for all sorts of reasons. Festivals still have issues. I feel like we console players are not treated fairly and the last fix we got only mucked it up more! I really love this game. I think it's beautiful and an engaging storyline. Please, fix the bugs properly. We've waited months, and I bought this game as soon as it was available. Please, I can't wait for the new content, but what good is it to me if I can't play through to get to it? I have a save as I type this that crashes every time I attempt to play it. It is stuck on one day. I had to try another character just to play and am still having all of the above problems! Please help.

I am having that same issue on Xbox S. The game is crashing when I attempt to "sleep"/save. It crashes no matter what I am doing prior, farming, fishing, diving, bug catching, planting, harvesting etc. I am on Summer 10 of Year 2 and it seems to crash every 2-3 in game days since day one year one. I was able to prevent it for a while by playing one game day, quitting to main, then completely closing the game, relaunching and repeating. As soon as I play a 2nd day, and try to sleep/save it crashes. I have had to replay Summer 10 Year 2, three times now and have lost a ton of progress, money and new items. Is there a known workaround or patch coming soon? Is there another way to save our progress throughout the day to avoid losing everything we have achieved?

We genuinely understand and acknowledge your frustration. The devs have been informed about the issue and we're still investigating this issue. However, we do need some information and we're really grateful if you can provide it to us 🙇‍♀️

• How long you've been playing in a day (real-life) before this crash happened?
• Have you successfully completed one in-game day before the crash happened?
• What game speed setting did you choose when playing the game? You can check it on the setting.
• What is your current in-game season and year?
• How many auto chests do you have?
• Have you healed the Coral tree and become a merfolk?
• Can you share a screenshot of your town rank progression in the journal, and your farm layout?

Dinda , I currently have two saves with this issue. One is like Lady Phoenix VII in the capacity that it is now unplayable...stuck on one day. The other is booting me out more frequently now. I am on an Xbox Series S as well. Not sure if I can send the screen shots here, but will get all info asked for on both saves ASAP. Thank you for responding.

Sorry, but I know of no work around. I'm in the same boat and even started playing on another save. The only other thought I have had is using "I'm Stuck" right before sleeping for the day. But beware, it cannot be undone once used and has its own annoying in-game consequences. You lose time and $$ to the Doc and your animals will stay inside barn\coop. Hope they had enough hay or they are all cranky when you come home!😊 I haven't tried this yet to see if you can continue on, but theoretically it should get you past one day. But some things might be lost, IDK for sure. Just a thought.

Dinda, first answer is regarding completely stuck save\other save info given after slant. Info asked for is answered in order of questions: 1. The time of one in-game day @ 50% (15-20min)/ It varies anywhere from 30 min to an hour and a half. About two or three in game days between. 2. No\ Usually. 3. 50% on both. 4. Year 3 Fall 26\Year 3 Summer 16. 5. No auto chests on both. 6. Yes on both. 7. Town Rank B, Museum Rank C, Ocean Rank A, Heritage Rank B on both saves. I uploaded screen shots on xbox live same tag as here. I'll try to send them here, but they are there if I can't. Hope this helps.

This got so bad for me on the Xbox cloud that I’ve turned off the game and see no reason to even attempt to play it again until it’s fixed. After having day after day after day crash at the go to sleep save at the end of the day I give up

Understand completely. I have a save just like that. Feel your pain my friend... Oh, and CaddyShack remains one of my all time faves! All I can say is "Rat Turds"!

OK. Now it's actually crashing every day if I do not get out of the game, exit completely and then go back in and start another day. So, it will save at the end of the day on my other save, but I have to get out after one day's time in game. Still no progress on the other save. It remains stuck on one day. Just an update.

You mentioned it crashes every day now, does it happen when you load the game and play for a day, then when your character goes to sleep the crash happens right away?

Thanks for responding, I can play through the first in game day sleep and save. It is the next consecutive day when I try to go to sleep that it won’t save. My work around has been to exit completely each day give it a small rest and then continue one more day. Hope this helps.

I'll ask this here since it had the same issues with series S crashes but does it depend on how long you've played cause ik I quit playing the game right after the first week or 2 it was out and I understood that in time the game would get better optimization and I just ran into my first crash since coming back and it only happened after I sat here for like 6 hours on it I should have seen the signs it was gonna crash though cause there were some the last hour or 2 I played like the load times slowly getting longer and when entering any building there was a slight stutter in the fps

• I can only play 1 in game day or it will crash unless i completely close the game and restart. Otherwise, it seems to crash when I have progressed the most, sold a large amount of items in the shipping bin or unlocked new items.
•Sometimes I can complete a full day without it crashing, and it saves successfully, but no more than 3 in game days before it absolutely crashes.
•50% game speed
• Current season is summer, but it has crashed in every season
• zero auto chests
•Yes, I have heald the tree and become merfolk. When I am in my merfolk form is a bit glitchy and crashes more frequently. The hitbox seems to have shrunk (I can't clean as much trash in one swipe and have to get almost on top of the trash to clear it) so I try not to dive to avoid losing my whole days progress.

I am now in fall I have no automation at all except 4 level 1 sprinklers for my 2 fruit trees completed the first mine and have only just made it to kingdom haven't healed the tree yet cause I play these kinds of games very slowly but I've noticed load times have only gotten worse and worse it takes about 5 minutes to just load into the game from main menu and the fps drop has only gotten worse and worse it's probably having a fps drop every minute or 2 now opposed to it being rare so it kinda freaks me out to play more and more cause my last attempt at playing my save data had gotten corrupt ig cause it crashed in the middle of saving but it had set me back from like week 2 in summer to the tree festival

I second this. I hadn’t played in a few days. Thought I’d try it out. Hadn’t played because of a crash on a really profitable day. And then, same thing happened. Another banger of a day, got so much done, and then crash. Like I don’t even want to play til yall fix whatever is wrong. This game is fun but I’ve lost most of the steam I had for it. Kinda just is a waste of time honestly. Super bummed. ☹️ Xbox series x
