Unable to use the create test save on steam deck?

I wanted to try out the new beta for the game, but for whatever reason I’m unable to select the “create test save” button. I’m using a steam deck and perhaps that’s why? Anyone else have this issue?

i haven't heard anything but we did just have an update so it could be broken

there's a vending machine in game that has everything you need for musuem and for altars so doing a new save wont hurt you

Hmm ok, perhaps that’s it. Yeah I just wanted to cut right to the new area but yeah I can do a new save. Thank you.

Use your touch screen - I’ve the same issue

I tried, but to no avail 😫. Plus the vending machine that doles out the artifacts for the museum doesn’t seem to work either in the beta. Ah well

Works for everyone else. It’s the little black floating box in front of the plants near the greenhouse. Hover over it and click. It will then offer you 3 things: money, beta gifts to give townies, or free items. All the fish, bugs, artifacts, gems and fossils for the museum plus items needed to complete the altars are there.

Yeah for some reason I cannot select any of them, I can select the money and receive that but none of the artifacts
