I can tell you the team is actively working on it now with a lot of alpha testing being done by the team (you can see they're working on it via steamdb.info)

End of the year? 1.3 is on their 2025 roadmap, 1.2 can't be released by the end of the year, in their last post which was on March 14th they said they were near the finish line for 1.2

1.2 is aimed to release this summer (June-August), no exact dates were given. In #🐔coral-general the saint that they are VixiaChick are posting reminders of current state of things several times a day every day.
