Baby does end up back in the crib the next day though.

That particular time was ~10pm on Summer 24 year 3, though it's happened multiple nights.

this just happened to me as well! and also on steam pc. i'm on fall 10 year 3. it's been 2 days with wakuu carrying the baby around. it's kinda funny tho ngl 🤣

mine seemed to get fixed when i re opened the game to play some time later! the only thing now is everyone repeating the dialogue of the baby's arrival as if they were just born. still, here's two backup saves from me. not sure if those are the right ones, but i selected these based on the file's modification date

it was during his usual routine of checking on the baby. right after taking the baby and moving around a bit with them on their room, he would then leave without putting them on the crib. i noticed it mostly around afternoon or late afternoon and then he would take the baby with him to the tavern. it was kinda funny so i got a few screenshots and a recording in case it was needed here later

as for the dialogue, i only have screenshots right now but later I can take a video + send my daily save as it still happened when i played yesterday. most of the townies repeat the dialogue. the only one i noticed to stop repeating it after a few days to comment on something festival related first was Frank.

so, i got my save from fall 18 and played through it and took a few screenshots and recordings and was planning on doing it again on fall 19 for comparison but then the dialogue (that's been repeating since fall ~10) suddenly stopped. my only guess is because this time i talked to wakuu during night time and he repeated the baby dialogue and maybe that fixed it? because on days before that i would talk to him on mornings and nights and the night dialogue would be different, but this time he actually repeated the baby dialogue and since this is the only difference i noticed i can only guess he started and/or ended the bug? i'm not sure. still, i'll send the daily save from both fall 18 and 19 + screenshots and videos from the characters i sent earlier 🫡
