So I just had what I consider my first full crop season. Got the two rank to E, near the end if my first summer.

Going into Sunmer I had some cash finally and 2 decent scarecrows I bought from Ben so I wanted to make it a really hot crop summer. I completely filled the area of one scarecrow, half of it with peppers and the rest with other crops I rotated through the season. Worked pretty well.

But one thing I learned is that the 3d style makes it kind of a pain when you have a ton of crops like that; it's really hard to tell if you missed a spot watering or something.

Did I just got too hard? Maybe 120 was just too much to water by hand? I only have access to 3 sprinklers currently and I'm not raking in enough silver kelp to make more yet. Part of my is also wondering if there's just a smarter way to arrange my crops so I don't have them all bunched up like that. If there's any tips or recommendations you have, I'm happy to hear them!

It really depends on you. Some people like to do groups of 9 so there's space in between the crops.

I find if I water from bottom to the top of my screen, it's easier to see if I missed a spot.

I think a lot of people just don't go all out until they have sprinklers because it can be such a pain.

With an 11x11 scarecrow you can fit a 5x5 planting square four times with a freespace cross at the vertical and horizontal of the scarecrow. This also fits well with leaving the center of the 5x5 open for sprinklers (either t1 that waters the immediate 8 so only watering the outer 16 ; or tier2 that waters all 24 crops in the square).

In dividing the 24 you could do 8 Inner Crop A - 16 Outer Crop B / 12 Crop A - 12 Crop B / 10 Crop A - 4 Crop B - 10 Crop C / 5 Crop A - 5 Crop B - 4 Crop C - 5 Crop D - 5 Crop E.
