hi folks :)) im wondering if its possible to get married to both a mermaid and a townie at the same time??? i just started a beta save and i really want to marry semeru, but i know itll take a while to get married to him. i thought about romancing ben in the meantime, but i dont want to accidentally lock myself out of marrying semeru lol

Might be able to get better answers at least in regards to the merfolk romance aspect in #⚠coral-beta-spoilers but at least as far as I know you can't marry 2 townies right now, and I don't really see how it could be that much different in rules for merfolk... unless they never come ashore and therefore your house size isn't an issue.
Though it'd be a kinda weird thing to me... if you can't marry multiple people ashore but you can have 1 ashore and 1 under the sea... if they never meet each other it'd feel more to me like cheating than polyamory 🤔
