Moving trees

I was wondering if it is possible to move trees once they're planted. I wanted to make a section for trees only but I just planted them by the crops (what was I thinking) and my banana tree is dead so how do I remove it? Please help

Banana trees come from I think the saplings, not the seedlings? They come from the version that lasts 2 seasons and then dies.
There's a different type of tree that you can plant that stays throughout the year, but it needs more space around it than the other ones, and it only gives fruit within its season

I remember the difference visually. One of them is only for 2 seasons generally, and comes with the plant in a little white container for the icon

I was researching that you can use an axe to move fruit plants and fruit trees, can you still do that when fruit plants are dead?

Anything & everything can be moved via architect desk! 😄

(It unlocks a lil after you’ve completed all 4 mine caverns)

yep! via 'edit farm buildings' at carpenters or architect desk once you have it

@thin tree I was trying to move my dragonfruit seeding with an axe but it didn't move

You can't use an axe to move anything.

At best, you'll destroy it (seedlings will be destroyed after approximately 16 hits with an axe)

You can only move planted items once you get the architect desk, which is obtained via the mining storyline
