Hi. I did a search for the aging barrels and only found a couple of threads one about them getting stuck and one on automation. I apologise if this has been mentioned before. I am unable to put in the same items but different quality into one aging barrel eg goats cheese - I can put in three osmium or three gold but not a mixture of gold and osmium. As this is not how other machines work I'm assuming this is a bug.

Hi yes I'm on the current 1.0 release. I dont have a video but all I do is try and put three item in an aging barrel of the same thing and if they are different quality it won't let me but if they're the same it will.

Hi, Rachma! I also have a frozen aging barrel. I play on Steam PC as well.

I too am experiencing this sadly, I also play steam on the most recent version. If the aging barrel has an item in it fermenting, I am only allowed to put in items of the same quality, rather than any quality. It was on my stream file so I will download the vod and get a clip for you!

I don't think this is a bug. The slime of transmutation works the same way. It's because both of them will raise product quality, so only the same quality can be in the machine at the same time.

We’ve confirmed with the team that the machine only accepts products with the same quality for processing. Therefore, this is not a bug. The details provided by piperbird are correct. Thanks for the help, @molten jay
