is it a bug or a feature to be able to merry multiple people? my brother has lily as his wife but was able to propose to another person and it just said he needed a bigger house so is it ok to be Polyamorous on coral island with multiple spouses?

You should not be able to marry multiple because we only have one spouse room

Multi dating we were told was fine- but only 1 spouse. I am 97% sure it's a bug

OR- you can do it to trigger the 10 heart scene but you will not trigger another wedding.

he said it only listed Lily as his girlfriend when he married her and when the next day rolled aroudn eh was allowed to propose to yuri btu it said he needed a bigger home

You can't actually marry another person since there is no bigger house available. I'm guessing that's an in game check to see that you're already married, spouse room occupied = can't marry again.
