Hello! I’ve been wondering, is it possible to reach rank A in year one? Has anyone done it yet? If so, have any tips for someone who’s thinking of trying it out?
I know you can’t complete the fishing collection, and completing the sea critter collection is v v difficult, so im just wondering if it even is possible.

idk if it's possible, I've been able to go up one rank per season and that's on 50% maybe if you had a ton of money you could speed run it. I'm not sure if it's happened yet though

with newgame+ and lot of savescumming, it may be possible. but... takes very much grinding even with both of those. goodluck if you wanna try them lol xD
the offering altar is possible to be completed at year one

i'd think the ocean can be completed year one as well, it's just the museum that's holding it back lol

I usually have ocean fully healed before mid summer 😅

I have only been able to get to Rank A as early as Spring year 2 and that's with knowing everything I know now, unless you can get your snowdrop seeds from the museum to help complete the altar offerings before winter if you haven't unlocked them yet it could be possible. Dynamite or ropes to speed through the caverns you need 160 ropes to get through all 4 caverns yes some floors already have holes to drop down but its easiest just knowing 40 floors each cavern. Slow time to 50% when doing ocean clean up and get your scythe to osmium ASAP itll help in the ocean.

It would definitely be a lot of work, but I've been able to complete the ocean in a season and the mine too so I think it should be possible?

wanted to update everyone here! i'm currently attempting this, so far im about to finish spring and ive gotten everything that's spring specific (except for the monkfish and tiger beetles). i've cleared up to 40m in the ocean (i could probably finish it before the end of spring, but i want to catch more fish and bugs and upgrade more things). i just finished 6 offerings, and all my tools are silver (tho most are gold)
i do think this is possible to complete (i just have to get those stupid tiger beetles lol)! it helps that you dont have to be a high level in fishing to get legendaries. and the new game plus is what is helping the most (i used a 40mil save)

Did a speed run and on an attempt number 3, reached town rank A on Winter 18 Year 1. Clean save, no NG+.

update! summer 6 y2 is the soonest i was able to reach rank s (but i had turned everything in by the last day of spring, it was just waiting for everything to finish). I think with the new update, rank s by spring y2 could be possible!
